Hi, I’m Roberto, Owner of Smart Image Events.

and my story starts right here in Nashville. I grew up in East Nashville and, after attending East Nashville High School, went on to Trevecca Nazarene University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Sports Management with a minor in Business.

Like many entrepreneurs, I didn't stick strictly to my college degree. I found my way into the event industry by starting as an AV Technician with a friend. After nearly a year constantly on the road, I made the bold decision to shift my focus and establish something local: Smart Image Events.

My motivation was simple: to create a work-life balance that allowed me to be present at home, rather than always traveling.—one that allows me to be present at home with my beautiful wife, Blanca, and our wonderful son, Isaias.

Even as I launched the photobooth business, I discovered that my passion for event production was deeply ingrained. It had become a core part of my skill set, and I didn't want to leave that expertise behind. That's why I created Smart Image Events—a business I have full control over that aligns with my deep experience in the events world.

To this day, I still provide Audio and Visual support for large-scale events, contracting with friends and clients for projects ranging from concert arena lighting at universities to corporate functions.
